Introduction of Shanghai

Shanghai is located at the forward position of the Yangtse River delta.

Shanghai is the largest commercial and financial center in China as well as an important international port city.Being a city famous for its history and culture,and an epitome of modern China,it used to be reputed as ‘the passage of river and sea as well as the biggest city of southeast China’. Today's Shanghai, a modernized, open city with traditional Chinese culture,not only possesses old-fashioned western buildings at Waitan, modern skyscrapers, Xujiahui cathedral, Dongfang Mingzhu Television Tower, but also is the busiest commercial center across China, reputed as ‘shopping paradise’. Nanjing Road, known as 'China's No.1 Street', the Ever Bright City Commercial Centre, Xujiahui Commercial Centre and Zhangyang Road Commercial Centre in Pudong are packed with rows of shops, large collections of merchandise as a feast to eyes.

Shanghai has a delightful climate with four distinct seasons. The average temperature is around 18 Centigrade.

The Bund is 1.5 kilometers long, starting from Yan'an Road in the south, Waibaidu Bridge on Suzhou River in the north, Huangpu River in the east, and the concentration of financial and foreign trade institutions in old Shanghai to the west. There are 52 classical revival buildings in different styles on the Bund, known as the World Architectural Expo Group on the Bund. It is one of the important historical sites and representative buildings in modern China and one of the important landmarks in Shanghai.

Located in Chuanshaxin Town, Pudong District, Shanghai, Shanghai Disneyland is the sixth Disney theme park in the world, the third in Asia and the second in China. It is a theme park with magical kingdom style, combining classic Disney story characters. The park includes several unique theme parks and many iconic Disney rides and experiences. The center of the park has one of the most interactive Disney castles with perfect space for entertainment, dining and performance. There are other large indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces in the park, which play a role in different occasions of the year.

Nanjing Road Walkway is located in Huangpu District, Shanghai, starting from Tibet Road in the west and Henan Road in the east, with a total length of 1033 meters. It was completed on September 20, 1999. Nanjing Road has more than 1.7 million passengers a day. Shanghai No. 1 Department Store, Shanghai Hualian Mall and Shanghai New World Mall, which have been ranked among the top three national retail enterprises for many years in a row, are all on Nanjing Road. Nanjing Road shopping malls in the group of famous products, dazzling. There are no less than hundreds of thousands of famous, special, excellent and new products, as well as imported brand-name goods. The goods of several time-honored shops are particularly famous. The night scene of Nanjing Road is particularly charming and is a major sight of Shanghai.
